11 Nov RVS CUP 2022 Main Event: Cezar Quiambao soars at Day 1B; 19 players join the Day 2 list
The tournament floor was packed tight at the Metro Card Club with the 8th RVS CUP Philippine Poker Championship seeing a rush of 133 entries for Day 1B of the featured ₱6,000,000 guaranteed Main Event. At the end of the scheduled 14 rounds of play, only 19 survived the battlefield. This bumped up the total entries to 209 and the total Day 2 qualifiers to 29.
Among those bagging chips today were Metro Team Pro Czardy Rivera and Pre-Event champion Rey Osete, however, their stacks don’t measure up to the heat leader Cezar Quiambao who bagged 234,500 (78 BB). He slides into second rank in the overall Day 2 list just below Day 1A leader Alvin Jeff Sembrano. With two days down, only three starters left to work your way to becoming the next RVS CUP champion.

The survivors have a couple of days break before returning for the next stage of the race which is Day 2 on Sunday, November 13. They await the results of the upcoming starting heats – Day 1C, Day 1D, and Day 1E (Turbo). This is the richest RVS CUP, boosted a generous one million pesos from previous, so if you haven’t yet secured your Day 2 seat, make sure to do so now.
