After Reynaldo Dela Rosa doubled up, his opponent Rasid Paitao continued to attack leading to the final hand. Dela Rosa shoved with {6d}{4h}, Paitao called with {10c}{10d}, the board offered no help to Dela Rosa and the new PPT champion emerged.

After losing a big pot to Reynaldo Dela Rosa, Reynaldo Villegas got all of it in on a three-way. Rasid Paitao raised to 250k, Villegas called, Dela Rosa shoved, Paitao shoved, and Villegas went ahead and joined the gang.

When the flop ran {2d}{qd}{10h} it was a pair for Paitao, the turn {9d} improved Villegas to a higher pair, and with the river {as}, Dela Rosa landed a pair as well to ship the pot and bounce out Villegas.

Rasid Paitao reclaimed the chip lead winning two pots to get him there. The first one saw him raise to 200k, called by all three players. He proceeded to bet 200k at the flop {qc}{qd}{jd}, no callers. The next pot was much larger. On a river board {3c}{9h}{ks}{5h}{6c}, Reynaldo Dela Rosa bet 400k, Paitao check-raised all in Dela Rosa called. Paitao showed {9c}{5c} two pair that bested Dela Rosa’s {6s}{5s} two pair. Paitao soared to over 4.7M, Dela Rosa down to 1.13M.

Both players got a piece of the flop {ah}{jd}{2d}, and with the turn {js} and river {qs}, it was a double up over 2.7M for Villegas. Paitao dropped to 1.3M.

Four way limped pot, the flop came {qc}{9s}{5s}. Sb Reynaldo Villegas bet 200k, bb folded, utg Rene Pacayra called, button Rasid Paitao jammed, Villegas met it, Pacayra folded.

The turn {10c} kept Villegas ahead but the {8s} river sent him to his stack to pay the double up. Paitao climbed to 2.726M, Villegas dropped to 1.617M.


6:15PM: Rene Pacayra claims a decent sized pot

As players battle for chips, a good one was claimed by Rene Pacayra. On a limped pot, three players stared down a flop {4c}{10d}{5c}. Sb Reynaldo Dela Rosa checked, bb Pacayra bet 50k, utg Rasid Paitao folded, Dela Rosa called. On the turn {2d}, Pacayra c-bet 200k, Dela Rosa check-folded.

Three way raised pot saw a flop {2h}{5h}{9c}, sb Rene Pacayra checked, bb Rasid Paito bet 357k, utg Reynaldo Villegas shoved, no callers. Villegas showed {3d}{5d} mid pair.

All in preflop by button Rene Pacayra with {ks}{jd}, sb Rasid Paitao snapped it off with {ah}{kh}. Though Paitao dominated, it all switched at the flop {10d}{ad}{qh} for a straight to Pacayra. The turn {4h} gave Paitao a flush draw but it didn’t materialize to pay the double up. Pacayra survived and is now up to 1.2M. Paitao slipped to 1.35M.

Plenty of action seen from Rasid Paitao during this final four. He was seen raising from sb then folding to a shove by bb Reynaldo Villegas. Next hand, he raised to 200k from the button, bb Reynaldo Dela Rosa called. At the flop {jd}{2d}{3c}, Paitao jammed, Dela Rosa check-folded.

One round later, Paitao raised to 250k from the button, Dela Rosa defended, the flop ran {4s}{3h}{as}. Dela Rosa led 400k, Paitao shoved, Dela Rosa folded. Paitao showed {ad}{4h} mid pair. He climbed to 2.4M.

Catching the action on a board {5s}{3c}{9s}{8c} with both players checking the flop, Daniel Edwards raise-shoved the turn with {ac}{qc} draw and Rasid Paitao bet-called with {9h}{10h} pair. The river {js} were not one of the outs for Edwards to pay Paitao the double up.

Switch in leadership here with Reynaldo Villegas banking a huge double on a lucky draw. From utg+1, Angeles raised, Villegas three-bet shoved from the big blind, snap-called by Angeles.

Seungeon Lee aka Jacob met his end at the hands of Reynaldo Dela Rosa. The hand opened with Rommel Angeles raising to 90k, Reynaldo Dela Rosa used one time bank then shoved. A few spots over, Lee did the same, used a time bank then shoved, everyone else folded including Angeles.

4:20PM: Reynaldo Villegas rises; Valerio plummets

Reynaldo Villegas didn’t going anywhere but up in this hand. He raised to 80k, two spots over April Valerio three-bet to 160k, Villegas tanked then four-bet to 420k, Valerio shoved, Villegas answered with an instant call for his tournament life.

The board came {10h}{7s}{2h}{9h} to give Villegas a bit of a sweat as Valerio picked up more outs however the river {4c} was not one of them to ship a double up. Villegas charged up to 1.32M, Valerio dropped to 460k.


4:10PM: Reynaldo Dela Rosa doubles up through Angeles

After numerous uncalled shoves, we finally saw another showdown. Utg+1 Reynaldo Dela Rosa all in with {ah}{kd} called by initial raiser utg Rommel Angeles with {ac}{6h}. When the flop came {qc}{5h}{6s}, Angeles jumped ahead with a pair but the turn {ks} returned the lead to Dela Rosa. And with the river {4h}, Dela Rosa happy to double up. He now has 615k.


3:40PM: Chips moving around the felt….

Players have now settled at the final table. 9 remain. Pots being claimed by nearly every player at the round. Seungeon Lee earned one off Rasid Paitao. Lee raised to 79k, Paitao called. Lee shoved (296k) on the flop {2s}{8s}{7d}, fold from Paitao. A couple were claimed by April Valerio. Her first one was a shove, no callers. The next one she raised to 100k from utg, no callers. She showed pocket nines.

Shoving several times and seeing no callers was Reynaldo Villegas from seat 1. He brought his stack up from 220k to 635k. Rene Pacayra also boosted up to around 1M after losing a sizable amount to Daniel Edwards earlier.


3:20PM: Daniel Edwards widens lead to 2.2M

Daniel Edwards entered the final table as chip leader with over 1.6M and has just picked up another 600k to climb over 2.2M. His first winning pot was a three-way look at the flop against the blinds and won it with an uncalled bet. Next hand was significantly bigger. From mid-position Edwards raised to 64k, sb Rene Pacayra called. No bets on the flop and turn {6d}{6c}{8s}{4h}, but on the river {5h}, Pacarya bet 100k, Edwards raised to 270k, Pacayra used one time bank then called while showing {ad}{jc}. Edwards had better with {ac}{7c} straight to claim the pot. Pacayra down to 920k.

Hand for hand to the final table lasted all of five hands. Jasper Salonga David was eliminated by Daniel Edwards in 11th place, denying him a seat to the final table. David entered the final day as the only Day 1 chip leader remaining. His final hand was a battle of the blinds. With a pot of 160k brewed and a board {6s}{8h}{js}{kh}, Edwards was all in with {10s}{4s}, David called and was at risk with {ks}{6d} two pair. David called out “no spade, no spade”, but the board refused his wish as a {2s} fell on the river for the flush to Edwards. David out in 11th place.

April Valerio continues to sizzle the felt with her aggressive bets. She may have just paid a double up to Echevarria but she recovered some of those lost chips in two hands, one against Rommel Angeles. The first hand saw a flop 9-6-5, Valerio bet and won the pot showing her 8-7 straight. Next hand opened with a 55k raise by Angeles from utg+1, sb Valerio shoved, Angeles folded.  Valerio showed pocket queens. Valerio up to 1.040M, Angeles down to 635k.
