21 Aug Jonald Garcia leads in Batang Metro Poker Challenge Day 2; title and PHP 2M up for grabs
It is down to the wire at the Batang Metro Poker Challenge with only one day of action left to determine its newest champion! At 2pm on Monday, August 21, 2023, 18 players will return to the Metro Card Club to hunt down the title and the enormous PHP 2,050,000 top prize. The player most favored to take it down is Jonald Garcia who had another impressive day at the races on Day 2. Garcia entered as overall chip leader and closed it out in the same position. He bagged up 68 big blinds while his nearest opponent is John Costiniano with 44 big blinds. If he pulls it off, it will be his first ever Metro major.
The final 18 players are guaranteed t0 turn their PHP 10,000 buy in four times over to PHP 40,950 however the champion will turn that 200 times over. Who will be the next BMPC champion?
