MSE ₱3.5M Day 1C ends with Taiwan’s Yan Ke as massive chip leader; Luis Bernardo ships Deepstack Turbo

The biggest story of the day was Taiwanese player, Yan Ke, who stunned the local force at the Metro Summer Event Day 1C by bagging up a staggering 120 BB to steal the top spot in the Day 2 chip counts. Not much is known of Ke however that will all change at the next stage of the race as all eyes will surely be watching his every move.

Ke Yan

Another player racking up big was Victor Lansang with 111 BB. Lansang and Ke were the only two players that bagged in the 100 big blind range.

Victor Lansang

The third entry day of the MSE ₱3.5 Million guaranteed sizzled with action as 191 runners heated up the Metro Card Club. At the end of the scheduled 14 rounds of Day 1 play, only 33 survived. Among them were Metro Team Pros Vamerdino Magsakay, Czardy Rivera, Joven Huerto, and local stars Moe Saquing and Richard Marquez.

Bonifacio Mondalo

Defending champion Bonifacio Mondalo also pulled through but will most likely be attempting for multiple stacks with only half a blind bagged. For the complete list of Day 1C survivors and Day 2 players, click on the link provided.
