Metro Summer Event begins tomorrow feat. Pre-Event 500K guaranteed – April 17 to 24

One day away from the Metro Summer Event series here at the Metro Card Club! This is the club’s second festival of the year and it promises to be a sizzler with a Pre-Event PHP 500K guaranteed to kick off the games. This is a great way to build one’s bankroll before the Main Event sets sail. Last year, Rommel Angeles did just that. He turned his lowly buy in to nearly PHP 100K.

The Pre-Event is a two-day tournament running on April 17 to 18. This the first of three events backed by a guaranteed prize pool. Players have two starting flights to try to qualify for Day 2. Buy in is PHP 3,500. Players start with a very deep stack 300x the opening big blind.

Flight A: Monday, April 17 at 3pm
Flight B (Turbo): Monday, April 17 at 7:30pm
Final Day: Tuesday, April 18 at 2pm
Starting stack: 15,000

  • Registration and multiple re-entry are allowed before the start of Level 11
  • Rebuy PHP 3,200 for 15,000 chips (player must have 15,000 or below in order to rebuy)
  • Flight A blinds increase every 30 minutes, Flight B blinds increase every 20 minutes

At the completion of the Pre-Event, the headliner takes the floor. The Main Event PHP 3,500,000 guaranteed runs for six days from April 19 to 24. The first four days are dedicated entry days followed by Day 2 and the Final Day. Buy in is PHP 7,000.
