Jody Kitchen sets the bar high at PPT Day 1C; two flights remaining

Day 1C of the Philippine Poker Tournament 3M guaranteed drew a large crowd of 137 entries to the Metro Card Club. Like previous days, the tables were filled with locals with many moving on to the next round. Racking the biggest stack was Canadian player Jody Kitchen, with 308,000 (62 BB) at bagging time. Kitchen was the first non-local to earn a Day 1 chip lead and the first to advance with a stack in the 300K range. He is currently the frontrunner.

PPT 3M update

The Metro’s PPT 3M event kicked off on January 18 and will run through January 23. The first three of five starting days have been completed with a total of 357 suiting up and 63 advancing to the next stage. The qualifiers head back to the felt on Sunday, January 22 at 1pm for Day 2. You can track the action via the Live Updates.

For those at the rails, there are only two chances left to secure your spot. Day 1D and Day 1E (Turbo) both take place on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Day 1D starts at 2pm and Day 1E (Turbo) at 7pm.
