2022 RVS CUP festivities begin tomorrow with Pre-Event 600K GTD

Ready or not, the 8th RVS CUP festival begins tomorrow! The annual series is the most popular homegrown event hosted by the Metro Card Club, and for this edition, it is bigger than ever. Not only is the schedule lined with exciting events from start to finish, the RVS CUP Main Event guarantee has also been boosted to ₱6,000,000 (~$103,000)!

The 11-day festival gets underway on November 4 and runs through November 14. Before the headliner takes the floor, the tables first open with numerous side events starting with the Pre-Event 600K GTD. This is a great way to kickstart your bankroll and earn points towards the RVS CUP Player of the Series title.

Day 1A: Thursday, November 4 at 3pm
Day 1B: Friday, November 5 at 3pm
Day 1C (Turbo): Friday, November 5 at 7pm
Final Day: Saturday, November 6 at 1pm

As mentioned above, another reason to get on the felt early is the RVS CUP Player of the Series title. At the end of the festival, the player with the most points accrued will win a special trophy and a trip to one of the world’s top beaches, Boracay, in Aklan, Philippines. The package includes a 4 Day / 3 Night stay at The District Boracay and airfare allowance.

Leading up to the Main Event are three other side events to gather up more points. The Mixed Game NLHE/PLO, Big Bounty, and another event featuring a guarantee, the NLHE 300K GTD. All three events come in at a cheap buy in of ₱3,300 (~$56).

Once those complete, the RVS CUP Main Event takes center stage. Due to the global health crisis, this popular event has been compromised for the past two years. Now in its 8th year, the Metro guarantees its return to be worth the wait with a boosted prize pool of ₱6 Million. Past winners are expected to attend and of course the Metro Team Pros. The event runs from November 9 to 14 kicked off by four starting days and a turbo flight. Buy in is ₱11,000 (~$190). The final table will be livestreamed on the Metro facebook page.
