2022 APC: Day 1A leader Changhwan Lee sets the bar sky high; Metro Team Pros Marc Rivera and John Tech advance

The Asia Poker Championship completed its first starting day at the Metro Card Club and though the field was light with only 36 taking interest it still provided plenty of action. Among the early goers were Metro Team Pros Marc Rivera and John Tech, both players qualifying to Day 2. Club partner Korean Mind Game Members (KMGM) also fielded a good chunk of players with one of their own, Changhwan Lee, bagging up a mighty stack of 421,000 equivalent to 105 BB. Lee sets the bar very high for the next entry day. In second position, though quite a distance from the leader, was USA’s Moses Saquing, who has been running incredibly hot this summer. Saquing closed the day with a 48 BB stack.
