It was elbow to elbow at the Philippine Poker Tournament with 181 runners taking advantage of the final entry day. The huge turnout sent the prize pool edging just past the advertised guarantee for a slightly larger Php 2,082,650 pot. At bagging time, only 26 players survived with Korean player Hwang Inje boasting the mightiest stack of 368,800. Inje will enter Day 2 as the overwhelming chip leader. Also among the Day 1D qualifiers was 2020 PPT champion Rasid Paitao who amassed the overall 6th largest stack.
