Get ready to storm the felt! In just one day’s time, the Metro Card Club in collaboration with KMGM (Korean Mind Game Members) will host its first big event of the year! Running from January 31 to February 3 is the inaugural Asian Poker Championship featuring a Php 5,000,000 (US$ 98,300) guaranteed Main Event. We’ve got all the info for you below.

Buy-in: Php 22,000 (US$ 430)
Starting stack: 15,000
Opening blinds: 25 – 50
Format: Big Blind Ante (switches to regular ante at the final table)

Day 1A: Friday, January 31 @ 1pm (30 minute blinds)
Day 1B: Saturday, February 1 @ 1pm (30 minute blinds)
Day 1C (Turbo): Saturday, February 1 @ 5pm (20 minute blinds)

Day 2: Sunday, February 2 @ 12pm
Final Day: Monday, February 3 @ 11am

Notes:

  • Multiple re-entries allowed
  • Best stack forward rule applies
  • Day 1A and Day 1B start at 1pm
  • Day 1C turbo flight starts at 5pm
  • Registration closes at the start of Level 10
  • All starting days play until the end of Level 14
  • Day 2 starts at 12pm
  • Day 2 plays until the end of Level 26 or when final two tables is reached (whichever comes first)
  • Final Day starts at 11am
  • Final Table is 10-handed
  • Big Blind Ante format applies then switches to Regular Ante only for the final table
  • Level duration is 30 minutes then increases to 40 minutes for the final two tables
  • Level duration is 60 minutes at the final table
