RVS CUP 2019: Royly Oracion earns the top spot at Main Event Day 1C; 30 make the cut

The numbers keep climbing at the RVS CUP 2019 Philippine Poker Championship as Main Event Day 1C draws another 135 to Metro Card Club. This is now the largest of the three entry days completed with one more to follow. Among the 30 surviving the fifteen rounds were local champions Mark Amparo, Euryd Rivera, and Alexis Lim however closing it out in top position was Royly Oracion with 151,900.

There is still one more starting day to join and have a chance at the title and the Php 5,000,000 (~US$ 98,000) guarantee. So for all you weekend warriors, Day 1D takes place on Saturday, November 16 at 3pm. Buy-in is Php 11,000 (~US$ 220). Already through are past champions Marco Almerez and Christopher Chua. If you have what it takes to own the crown then it’s time to bring your poker skills to the tables and own it. Players with short stacks may also attempt for multiple stacks however only your best stack moves forward.

Starting stack: 15,000
Opening blinds: 25 – 50 (structure below)
Format: Big Blind Ante (big blind is posted before the ante)
Day 1 and Day 2: 30 minutes blind level duration
Final two tables: 40 minutes blind level duration and switches to Regular Ante
Final table: 60 minutes blind level duration

Notes:

  • Registration closes at the start of Level 10
  • Day 1 flights play until the end of Level 15
  • Multiple re-entries and multiple stacks allowed; best stack forward rule applies
  • Day 2 plays until the final two tables is formed or 12 levels whichever is reached first
  • Final table will be 10-handed
  • Players must bring a valid ID to register and to claim winnings

There has been a change in leadership at the RVS CUP 2019 Player of the Series race with Maxwell Philippe Rosete leading while Jacque Ramsden has been bumped down to 4th rank. Also in the list is last year’s winner Joven Huerto ranked 10th. Below are the current top 10 after 6 events.
