Shot Clock enters the game

For the first time in Metro history, the Shot Clock will be making an appearance. For those attending the NLHE Turbo event, get ready for event faster action.

  • The Shot Clock will be introduced once registration has closed.
  • Once the Shot Clock is introduced, players will receive (5) 60-second Time Bank Buttons.
  • The Shot clock will begin with an initial 30 second countdown.
  • The Shot Clock will be paused if the Dealer needs to count a bet of multiple chips and stacks and/or the opposing player needs to stack his chips properly for a clear estimate of his stack.
  • Once the acting player exhausts the initial 30 second countdown, he/she will immediately owe a Time Bank Button and will owe another one once each 60-second countdown expires.
  • Final Table players will receive an additional (5) Time Bank Button.
  • Players without any Time Bank Buttons left will have to act within the 30 second Shot Clock allowance. If the player fails to act before the time expires, the player’s hand will automatically be folded.
