Friday at the Metro Card Club dragged in another batch of players to the Metro WALK TO A MILLION 1.5M Guaranteed.  At the close of registration, 155 entered Day 1C to bring the combined tally to 363 entries. One starting day remains. That takes off at 3 pm today, Saturday, June 29. If tradition is an indicator of what’s to come, then expect a big field and a great day of competitive poker. For now, here are the results of Day 1C.
Day 1C leaders 
At the end of the 15 scheduled rounds, the 155 entry field trimmed to just 26 players. Joemark Vasay amassed the largest stack of 177,600 to put him currently 5th among the Day 2 qualifiers. Not too far behind the leader was Rodrigo Sequite with 172,500. Sequite has become one of the strongest players in the local circuit. Among his numerous deep runs in 2018 was a near victory at the PokerStars Live Manila Super Series 6 Main Event falling just one spot short to Filipino pro player Lester Edoc.
