Another starting day in the books! The Metro Card Club’s – Metro WALK TO A MILLION P1.5M Guaranteed drew 101 to the tables to bring the combined entries to 208. Charging up the ranks in Day 1B was well known figurehead Ronald Singson. Singson is one of the pioneers of poker in the Philippines. He topped the heat’s 17 survivors with 189,400 bagged.

Other players making the cut were Metro decorated P2M Main Event champion Mark Anthony Amparo (125,600) and RVS Cup 2018 Player of the Series winner Joven Huerto (60,900).

The 17 players above advance to Day 2 taking place on Sunday, June 30. They join the 14 Day 1A survivors to lengthen the roster to 31 players. Day 1A chip leader Jimmie Javier continues to sit in the high chair with a commanding 255,500 stack. If you want to catch him, you will need to amass over 17 starting stacks to do so. With two starting days in the books, that leaves us with two more. The hunt for the Metro’s third champion of the year continues. Calling out to all weekend warriors…. Day 1C is on the floor next taking place on Friday, June 28 at 3pm. Registration closes at the start of Level 10 which gives you 5 hours from starting time to jump in. As always, the buy-in is very affordable at P3,500 with re-entries allowed. Important reminder, Day 2 players can attempt for multiple stacks however only your best stack advances.

Format: Big Blind Ante
Level duration: blinds increase every 30 minutes

  • Ante will come from the Big Blind. The Big Blind is posted prior to the Ante.
  • Players making it to Day 2 may still play in the qualifying days.  Best stack forward rule applies.
  • Day 2 will play down to two tables or play 12 levels, whichever comes first.
  • Final two tables will post regular ante.
  • There will be a 30 big blind ratio to average stack rollback on Day 2, Final day, and final table if needed.
  • Final table will be 10 handed.
  • Top 18 places will receive a seat to Batang Metro Poker Challenge (BMPC) worth Php 4,500.
