Day 1D – last chance to enter

It is crunch time for everyone that hasn’t secured their seat. Day 1D is upon us and it is the last entry day to the first Metro event of the year. As it stands, there are 256 entrants with 42 advancing to Day 2. Once again, owning the mightiest stack is Day 1A chip leader Bonifacio Mondalo with 273,075.

Main Event buy-in is P4,500. Cards in the air at 3pm. Here’s a rundown of what you need to know:

Starting stack: 15,000
Opening blinds: 25-50
Level duration: 30 minute intervals
Late registration: closes at the start of Level 10 (blinds 400-800 ante 800)
Regulation time: bagging at the end of Level 15

*The Big Blind Ante system will be utilized.

Once we reach Day 2, players get to see more hands per round with blinds increasing every 40 minutes. Day 2  will play a total of 12 rounds or to the final two tables whichever is reached first. Once that decreases to just one final table of 10 players, the blinds will once again be padded to 60 minutes per round.

*Important note: The Big Blind Ante system will be replaced by the Regular Ante (per player) system at the final two tables. See structure below:
