It’s RVS Cup Time! Metro’s Biggest Annual Poker Event Starts Today!

It’s that time of year when the biggest names in Philippine poker, many of whom started out right here at Metro before making it big on the world stage, will rub elbows alongside the next generation of hopefuls.

It’s RVS Cup time! The Metro’s biggest and most anticipated annual poker event! And it starts today. If you are just hearing of this event and are in the Philippines, this is one event you don’t want to miss!

RVS Cup – Full Festival Preview and Event Structures

Over the next eleven days, from November 6 to 16, the festival will feature eleven trophy events, though none will be more coveted than the RVS Cup Main Event title. Since its debut in 2014, the RVS Cup has delivered some incredible stories and seriously big paydays.

Metro homegrown pro Lester Edoc became the first-ever RVS Cup champion then in 2024, he became the first two-time champion, walking away with ₱3.7  million.

“I won my first in 2014. My second came 10 years later. I didn’t quit in between. I kept learning, kept showing up, and kept believing my time would come again. And if I win it a third time? The first proved I could do it. The second proved I belonged. The third would prove I never left.

On the flip side of the champions list, last year, recreational player Michael Manlapaz outlasted the 749-entry field to win his first major title and a cool ₱1.5 million along with it.

This year, the Main Event comes with a ₱10 million guarantee, a ₱15,000 buy-in, and six starting flights kicking off on November 11.
