24 Sep Ready Or Not, Here Comes The 2025 Batang Metro Poker Challenge
The Metro Card Club’s homegrown Batang Metro Poker Challenge is back! First introduced in 2019, the tournament was created to provide a platform for aspiring local players to compete for a major title. While the first two editions went to American pro John Francis King and local pro Lester Edoc, in 2023, local aspirant Marvin Cerbito secured it for his first major Metro title followed by Mark Jerick Almusajin in 2024 after overcoming a star-studded final table. Envied by all, Almusajin flipped his ₱15K buy-in into a jaw dropping ₱1.53 Million payday.

The next title is up for grabs. Kicking off on September 26 and running until October 6, the 2025 BMPC festival features ₱8.35 Million in guarantees and 12 events across the board. New on the menu is the Batang Metro Ladies Showdown while the star is the Main Event and its ₱6 Million guarantee. All event details are found below.
