25 Aug Joshua Figuerres Leads Final 44 Into Philippine Poker Millions Main Event Day 3
Brutal day of eliminations at the first ever Philippine Poker Millions as a wave of players fell short at Main Event Day 2, leaving only 44 contenders in pursuit of the historic title and the life-changing ₱7,200,000 top prize.

Among the players that survived was overnight chip leader Arnel Trinidad who proved that not only was he a force to reckon with online but on the live arena as well. Trinidad bagged the third largest stack of 1,655,000.
Also in the top 10 was famous Vietnamese vlogger Gemmy Tue An (Ngoc-Huyen Quach) who lit up the livestream with fans watching from afar. She finished the day with 1,350,000.
As for the Metro Team Pros, nearly all were cleaned out with only William Ysmael, and Czardy Rivera holding the torch at bagging time.

Outshining them all was Metro Day 1A qualifier, Joshua Figuerres, who turned his 24th ranked Day 2 starting stack to a commanding 2,015,000. He was the only player that bagged in the 2M range.

One player to keep a very close watch on is Justin Ong. His grand entrance into live poker resulted in back to back majors at the 2025 APPT Manila winning the Main Event and PokerStars Red Dragon. Ong entered Day 2 ranked 13th and maintained course all day to bag in 5th position with 1,470,000 in chips.
