Jansen Tiu Storms To Top Of Leaderboard At Metro Christmas Special 5M Day 1C

Topping the Metro Christmas Special 5M headlines was Jansen Tiu (pictured below) who bagged up a monster stack of 442,000 at Day 1C. That’s equivalent to over 17 starting stacks and has now taken over the top spot in the Day 2 leaderboard.

Also closing the day with a commendable stack was Karen Talamayan (pictured below) with 328,000. This earned her the second overall spot to bump down Day 1B leader Christian Cloutier to third rank.

Over at Day 1D, it was Alvir Inocentes (pictured below) who claimed the high chair with 307,000 in chips placing him in 4th rank. These rankings may change with two more flights yet to play out.

Flight C drew 86 entries with 12 players securing an ITM spot. At Flight D, 26 entered with 4 players advancing.

Another two flights concluded at the Metro Christmas Special with Day 1C and Day 1D adding a combined 112 entries to the cumulative numbers. The event has now drawn 328 entries across four flights.

As the last Metro Card Club event of the year, PHP 5 Million has been guaranteed and expected to surge with two flights remaining. A total of 47 players have ensured a piece of the pot.

Another important note, this is also a great way to earn points towards the Metro Tourney Player of the Year Leaderboard which closes on December 16.
