Through the years, the RVS CUP has crowned both established poker pros and rising stars, transforming players from relative obscurity into poker notoriety. Among the past winners are Lester Edoc, Richard Marquez, Anacleto Quijano, Marco Almerez, Jeffrey Calma, and Christopher Chua.
Last year, hot running local Vamerdino Magsakay topped the 766 entry field for a ₱1.6 Million payout deal. To date, this is the largest prize money collected by any RVS CUP champion. Without a doubt, that figure will be exceeded with this year’s prize pool at a minimum ₱10 Million.
