21 Apr Hernan Jaybee Villa tops MSE ₱3.5M Day 1B; Raji Rivera wins Power Button title;
Locally decorated Hernan Jaybee Villa emerged the star of the Metro Summer Event Day 1B after bagging up the largest stack of 231,00, equivalent to 58 big blinds. This placed Villa sixth rank in the cumulative Day 2 qualifiers list. Impressively, he finished sixth in this event last year and is once again in fine shape to go deep.
The second entry day of the MSE PH₱ 3.5 Million guaranteed saw 121 entries battle it out at the Metro Card Club. After 14 levels of play, only 28 players advanced to Day 2. Notable players joining Villa to the next round were second ranked John Riad and Metro Team Pro John Tech.
The combined MSE Day 2 qualifiers list has now grown to 71 players. Setting the bar high was Day 1A chip leader Nino Mercado with a whopping 86 big blinds. You can check out the Day 2 list via the link provided.

Only three entry flights remain, all of them taking place the next two days. Day 1C is up first, running on Friday, April 21. It is a holiday in the Philippines so a big crowd is expected. This is followed by Day 1D and Day 1E, both scheduled for Saturday, April 22.
Players that have already qualified for Day 2 but wish to attempt for a larger stack are welcome to do so. Multiple re-entries is allowed however only your best stack moves forward.
