Batang Metro 3M GTD: Edilberto Gopez sets the pace at Day 1A; three entry days up next; Alexis Lim wins Pre-Event

Batang Metro is underway at the Metro Card Club! This is another Metro homegrown event featuring a Php 3,000,000 (~US$ 53,400) guarantee. At the time of posting, the first deal of Day 1B was tabled at 3pm. For those that wish to jump in late, buy in is a very affordable Php 6,600 with unlimited re-entries. Registration closes at 7:50pm or until the end of Level 9.

Last night, Day 1A concluded with 12 players out of 81 entrants bagging up chips. Amassing the largest was Edilberto Gopez Jr. who recently won the Metro’s Asia Poker Championship – Mystery Bounty side event. At his heels was Jannodin Riga who trailed by just a few chips. Another player powering through was defending champion John Francis King and Metro Team Pro John Tech with over double the day’s starting stack.
