PPT 2M GTD – MAIN EVENT DAY 1B AT 3PM: MARC RIVERA VICTORY PARTY TONIGHT

The first starting day is in the books with only 8 players out of 60 entries advancing to Day 2. If you aren’t one of them, then it’s time you secure your spot. The Philippine Poker Tournament – Main Event Day 1B kicks off at 3pm today. This is the second of four starting days offered. Buy-in is P4,500, the guarantee is P2,000,000. If you wanna be the first Metro Card Club champion of 2019 then head to the tables! Bragging rights first title is up for grabs! 

Here’s a rundown of what you need to know: 

Starting stack: 15,000
Opening blinds: 25-50
Level duration: 30 minute intervals
Late registration: closes at the start of Level 10 (blinds 400-800 ante 800)
Regulation time: bagging at the end of Level 15

*The Big Blind Ante system will be utilized. 

Once we reach Day 2, players get to see more hands per round with blinds increasing every 40 minutes. Day 2  will play a total of 12 rounds or to the final two tables whichever is reached first. Once that decreases to just one final table of 10 players, the blinds will once again be padded up to 60 minutes per round. 

*Important note: The Big Blind Ante system will be replaced by the Regular Ante (per player) system at the final two tables. See structure below:

While the Main Event is in full swing, join us at 7pm in congratulating Metro Team Pro – Marc Rivera – for his 3rd place finish at the PokerStars Players Championship event. 

Rivera was one of 300 players that trekked to the Bahamas on a free ride. Whilst there, he navigated through a field of 1,039 players, bested only by two other contenders. Rivera earned over US$2.1M for his achievement and is now the highest ranking tournament player in the country’s All Time Money List. Congratulations Marc!
