It has arrived! The Asian Poker Championship starts today! In collaboration with Korean Mind Game Members (KMGM), the four-day series is the first of its kind and is the first big event by the Metro Card Club this year. It runs from today, January 31 to February 3 featuring a Php 5 million guaranteed Main Event. If you want to play among the best in the country, this is your chance! The Metro Team Pros will be out in full force to try to capture the inaugural title. We’ve got all the details below on how to join the action. Three starting days are offered.

Buy-in: Php 22,000 (~US$ 430)
Starting stack: 15,000
Level duration: 30 minute blinds
Format: Big Blind Ante (switches to regular ante at the final table)

Day 1A: Friday, January 31
Day 1B: Saturday, February 1
Day 1C (Turbo): Saturday, February 1

  • Multiple re-entries allowed
  • Best stack forward rule applies
  • Day 1A and Day 1B start at 1pm with blinds increasing every 30 minutes
  • Day 1C turbo flight starts at 5pm with blinds increasing every 20 minutes
  • Registration closes at the start of Level 10
  • All starting days play until the end of Level 14
  • Big Blind Ante format

Day 2: Sunday, February 2
Final Day: Monday, February 3

  • Day 2 starts at 12pm, blinds increase every 30 minutes
  • Day 2 plays until the end of Level 26 or when the final two tables is reached (whichever comes first)
  • Final Day starts at 11am
  • Final two tables will see blinds increase every 40 minutes
  • Final Table is 10-handed
  • Big Blind Ante format applies then switches to Regular Ante only for the final table
  • Final table will see blinds increase every 60 minutes
