10 Nov 2025 RVS Cup: GOP Arena ₱2M GTD Opens Today; Sky Victorino Wins Pre-Event
The 2025 RVS Cup is now in full swing at Metro Card Club, with games kicking off on November 7 and running until November 17. As the club’s most popular annual festival, this year’s edition features eleven days of tournaments and ₱14.45 million in guaranteed prizes.
The first of the featured events completed last night with Sky Victorino taking down the ₱700K Pre-Event and Zeus Segismundo winning the NLH 200K. Today, the spotlight shifts to Asia’s newest poker brand, Gods of Poker, hosting a ₱2M guaranteed Arena Event.
Gods Of Poker – Arena Event 2M GTD
Gods Of Poker, a a new brand set to debut on the live scene this December in Jeju, gives players an early preview of its signature format with a ₱2 Million Guaranteed Arena Event at the RVS Cup. The structure is unlike anything currently offered in the world with registration closing after just two levels! Check out the structure and all other details below.

The GOP Arena Event starts at 1pm today with three flights scheduled then another three flights tomorrow, November 11. Buy-in is set at just ₱5,500 (~$92). Aside from a cash prize, the winner will also win a GOP Main Event package valued at US$3,000. The package includes the following:
- 1 Main Event Ticket to Eden Awakens – Jeju (USD 1,400 value)
- 5-Night Stay at Jeju Shinhwa World Resort (USD 600 value)
- USD 1,000 cash equivalent to account for travel expenses, converted to KRW and disbursed upon claiming the seat on-site.
*In the event the champion is unable to attend, the all-inclusive package is fully transferrable to another player.

Sky Victorino Destined For Triumph At Pre-Event
Sky Victorino put on a masterclass performance at the RVS Cup Pre-Event, navigating every situation the final table threw at her. She entered as chip leader, delivered a bad beat, won a flip, made a gutsy call that lost her the lead, picked off a bluff, completed a straight at the right moment, and finally set the trap that sealed her victory. For her triumph, Victorino claimed the title and the ₱250,560 (~$4,200) top prize.

The RVS Cup Pre-Event ₱700K GTD kicked off the annual games and as always, the turnout did not disappoint. A total of 504 entries poured in at ₱3,000 (~$50.50) each, to smash the guarantee and sent the prize pool to ₱1,330,560 (~$22,500). The top 68 players earned a cut.

Day 2 brought the return of the final 68 players with Lito Quijano at the helm. However, by the time the final table was formed, he was out of the running while Sky Victorino entered in command. - Alexis Lim doubled up off Victorino and railed Jhun Aballa {qh}{qc} in 6th place with {kc}{kd}. During the hand, Victorino hero-called Lim’s shove on a flop {8h}{6d}{7c} holding {ks}{js}. The turn was {jc} and river {ac}. Victorino got chunked.
- Victorino dropped further to third-in-chips at five-handed.
- Bart Cerbito railed Germ De Haas in 5th place.
- Lim grinded to take the lead.
- With {kc}{10c}, Victorino called a river bet from Bart {kd}{jh} on board {qh}{5s}{7c}{10c}{8h}. Bart’s bluff-steal failed.
- Victorino catapulted to the lead with pocket 9s over Bart’s pocket 6s; Bart down to 4 big blinds.
- Victorino {6c}{5c} three-bet pushed {3c}{4s}{qc}, Lim called with {qd}{7s} top pair; the turn {7h} and river {5d} ended Lim in 3rd place.
- Heads up, Victorino led 72 big blinds versus Bart’s 11 big blinds.

When the GOP Arena Event enters its final day, the highly awaited RVS Cup Main Event gets rolling featuring a ₱10 Million (~$169,300) guarantee. To have a chance at the prize pool, the Metro has scheduled six entry flights with buy-in at ₱15,000 (~$ 250).

The RVS Cup was first introduced in 2014 attracting 282 Main Event runners. That number has increased every year after with 2017 drawing the largest crowd of 1,176 entries followed by 1,080 entries in 2023. Last year, 899 signed on and history was made with Lester Edoc (pictured above) becoming the first two-time RVS Cup Main Event champion.
