Chip Leaders
At the top of the list is Day 1D chip leader Alvir Inocentes with 1,690,000 (56 bb). Inocentes started Day 2 ranked sixth in chips and maintained course in his bid for a first ever Metro Main Event title. His deepest run at the club was 12th place at the 2019 RVS Cup.
At his heels, is Lloyd Fontillas from the Asian Poker Tour. Though a rare sight at the tables, Fontillas spun up his 23 bb Day 2 stack to second in command entering the final day with 1,445,000 (48 bb). You can expect a crowd railing Fontillas as he attempts to rein in a Main Event title in five years.
Players looking to spoil the glory for the top two are Michael Concepcion, Marvin Cerbito, Rene Mar David, Maxwell Rosete, and not to be discounted are the Karen and Joseph Talamayan, both players below 10 bb.
