02 Sep Batang Metro Day 1B draws 160 entries; 39 bag up led by Jason Tan Jia Zhen; William Ysmael among the survivors
The Metro Card Club was booming with action as players poured in for Day 1B of Batang Metro 3M GTD. After nine levels of registration, the tally was 160, which was double the previous day’s turnout. This bumped up the cumulative entries to 241. Notables in attendance were recent Asia Poker Championship winner William Ysmael and WPT Prime Cambodia finalist Junnie Pamplona. At bagging time, both players were among the 27 survivors with Jason Tan Jia Zhen earning the day’s chip lead. Zhen is currently ranked 3rd in the cumulative Day 2 list. Day 1A leader Edilberto Gopez Jr maintains the top spot.
