Folded to Rosete on the button, the PPT champion pushed all-in with {as}{js} and was immediately called by Ronn Ryan Mesina in the small blind with {ks}{kh}. The board revealed {5c}{5d}{jh}{qs}{10c} and Rosete settled for a 9th place finish, left to fight another day.

16:38: Ginbert De Villa heads for the rails in 10th – Php 300,000

Level 26: 40k-80k ante bb 80k

Crushed by the blinds, De Villa went with {ad}{6h} for his remaining five big blinds and was automatically called by original raiser Richard Marquez with {ac}{jc}. The board ran jack-high and sent De Villa out in 10th place for Php 300,000 in prizes.

16:32: Mike Takayama scoops up another stack, busting out Chang Kwon Seo – Php 240,000

Level 26: 40k-80k ante bb 80k

Seo open-jammed his 805k stack, called by Takayama on the small blind with {ad}{qh}. Seo revealed underdog {ac}{3c} and received no help when the board ran {qd}{2s}{7c}{kd}{qc}. Seo exits in 11th place and Takayama rises to the chip lead with over 4m in chips.

16:27: Lee Seok Young eliminated in 12th place – Php 240,000

Level 26: 40k-80k ante bb 80k

Left with less than five big blinds, Young pushed all-in from the button and was called by both blinds Kai Shing Chong and Mike Takayama on the big blind. The flop came {3s}{4h}{as} and both players checked. The turn {3h} was again checked by Chong and Takayama led a 300k bet. Chong folded and Takayama showed {ac}{6c}. The river {4s} completed the board, leaving Young’s {6h}{6s} headed for the muck.

16:20: Hyunjin Kim exits in 13th place – Php 240,000

Level 26: 40k-80k ante bb 80k

Returning from the break, the first hand saw Kim move all-in with his remaining 627k stack, called behind by Kai Shing Chong. Kim revealed {5h}{5d}, crushed by Chong’s premium {kh}{ks}. No five showed on board {9h}{2s}{7h}{qs}{6d} and Kim exited in 13th place.

15:44: Moe Jiggy claims Joemark Vasay – Php 200,000

Level 25: 30k-60k ante bb 60k

Running a short stack of 390k, Vasay moved all-in under the gun with {kd}{10d} and was called by Jiggy with {9d}{9h}. The board tabled {3c}{9c}{10h}{ac}{2c} sending Vasay for the exit in 14th place and Php 200,000 in winnings.

15:32: Chang Kwon Seo fades elimination

Moe Jiggy raised on the button to 140k and Seo jammed his short stack through with {ah}{2s}, crushed against his opponent’s {ac}{kd}. The board however, ran {5s}{5c}{js}{9h}{jc} for a chop pot with ace high.

15:28: Edgar Asehan wins flip against Ronn Ryan Mesina

Folded to Asehan on the small blind, Asehan pushed all-in with 789k and was called by Mesina on the big blind with {9d}{9s}. Asehan showed {kh}{qc} for a flip and the board revealed {jd}{4s}{jc}{10d}{ks} for a full double up.

15:18: Maxwell Rosete doubles up through Kim Hoo Yup

The hand began with an open from Ginbert De Villa to 115k. Yup called on the hijack and Rosete moved all-in for 378k total from the cut off. A fold from De Villa, Yup called with {jc}{10c}. Rosete showed {10d}{10h} and the board ran {kh}{7s}{7d}{3d}{as} giving the recent PPT champion another run for the APC title.

15:16: Moe Jiggy takes down two consecutive pots

Scooping up a smaller pot prior, Jiggy once again opened to 100k and was answered by a three-bet to 250k from Hyunjin Kim. Jiggy called and the flop ran {8h}{9s}{7s}. Jiggy check-called Kim’s 320k flop bet and the turn revealed {ah}. Both players checked and the {qc} filled the board. Jiggy moved all-in and Kim tank-folded. Jiggy claims the chip lead with nearly 3m in chips.

15:12: Richard Marquez crushes Dae Han Wi – Php 200,000

Level 24: 25k-50k ante bb 50k

An open from the cut off, Wi defended his big blind to see a flop of {6d}{8c}{7s}. Wi led out a 110k bet, called by Marquez. The turn {9d} for a one-card straight saw chips both ways swinging across the featured table. Wi continued with a 240k bet and Marquez put him all-in for his remaining 460k stack. Wi called off with a lower straight and no help on the river led him to exit in 16th place.

15:10: Hyunjin Kim wins blind vs blind battle

Level 24: 25k-50k ante bb 50k

Folded to Kim in the small blind, he raised to 140k, called by Joemark Vasay in the big blind. The flop came {8s}{kd}{7s} anf Kim fired a 120k bet. Vasay called and the turn revealed {ac}. Kim sent out another 220k bet and another call from Vasay. The river {2c} completed the board and Kim bet 250k once again. Vasay tank-folded and Kim chips up to 1.48m.

14:17: Jessie Leonarez sent to the rails by Moe Jiggy – Php 160,000

Landing the last spot on the Php 160,000 payout, Leonarez exited in 17th place having shoved his remaining three big blind stack after a raise from Moe Jiggy and a call from Clyde Morales. Jiggy re-raised to 350k, forcing Morales out of the pot. Jiggy showed {ks}{9s} for a flip against Leonarez’ {7s}{7c}. The board ran {4h}{6d}{ac}{qc}{kd} giving Jiggy the pot as he sits with now a 2.2m stack.

13:54: Mike Takayama busts William Teoh – Php 160,000

Moving all-in with 396k, Teoh’s jam was called by Takayama right behind. The board ran {3c}{9c}{ah}{9h}{9d} awarding the pot to sole Metro Team pro with the full boat. Takayama climbs to 2.2m in chips.

13:46: Czardy Rivera exits in 19th place – Php 160,000

Level 23: 20k-40k ante bb 40k

After a failed bluff against William Teoh, Czardy Rivera shoved his 5.5 big blind stack in with {ah}{8d}. Asehan called behind with {kh}{js} and the board revealed {4s}{3c}{4c}{2h}{kc} as the Metro Team Pro member headed for the rails.

13:42: Ronn Ryan Mesina climbs to the chip lead

Opened by Edgar Asehan from the button, Mesina defended his small blind and saw a flop of {ah}{5c}{6d}. Mesina checked and Asehan sent out a 70k bet. A call from Mesina, both players then checked the turn {10c}. The river {4c} completed the board and Mesina fired a 160k bet. Asehan called and Mesina showed {ad}{kc} for the win. Mesina climbs to the chip lead with over 2.6m in chips.

13:32: Cristopher Runas eliminated by Kai Shing Chong – Php 160,000

Chong’s aggression paid off as he jammed from the small blind, covering Runas’ 12 big blind stack. Runas tank-called with {7d}{7h} and immediately flopped a set. The board ran {ks}{7h}{8h}{10h}{ah} for a one-card flush to Chong’s {kh}.

13:16: Kim Hoo Yup busts William Kang – Php 160,000

Level 23: 20k-40k ante bb 40k

Short stacked Kang moved all-in with his remaining 267k and was called by Yup in the big blind with {7d}{9h}. The race saw Kang ahead with {as}{jh} but the board {8c}{10s}{5c}{9c}{kc} went in favor for Yup. Kang heads for the rails in 22nd place and Php 160,000 in winnings.

13:10: Yun Xiang Lee exits in 23rd place – Php 160,000

Folded to Joemark Vasay in the small blind, Vasay moved all-in and Lee called with {ac}{2s} in the big blind. Vasay revealed {ah}{5d} as the board tabled {5c}{10c}{js}{7s}{3s}, winning with a pair of fives. Vasay crosses the 1m mark in chips.

13:00: Clyde Troy Morales scores a double elimination – Minku Kim and Kim Da Hye – Php 160,000 and Php 120,000

Beginning with a 250k all-in from Kim in the cut off, Da Hye on the small blind called with her remaining 109k stack and Morales on the big blind called for 220k more.

12:43: Moe Jiggy bleeds more chips

Shoving his 11 big blind stack, Lee Seok Young left no play for his pocket Aces as Moe Jiggy from the big blind instantly found the call with pocket Queens. The board ran {kd}{2h}{8s}{5c}{4h} and Young fades the elimination.

12:42: Changsu Yu takes some from Hyunjin Kim

Short stacked from the hand prior, Yu jammed his five big blind stack through with {ah}{kh} and is called by Kim from the big blind with {ad}{qs}. An eight-high board gave Yu his much needed double up winning with a better Ace.

12:40: Kai Shing Chong doubles up through Changsu Yu

The hand began with an open from Hyunjin Kim and a three-bet to 175k right behind by Yu. Chong jammed his 426k stack in, Kim folded and Yu made the call. The board ran {9h}{js}{ah}{kd}{9c} and Chong’s Queens hold for a double up.

12:38: Richard Marquez chips up

Marquez opened from the cut off to 70k and Teoh called on the button. Both players checked the flop {3h}{4c}{7d} and the turn came {6c}. Marquez sent out a 70k bet and Teoh called behind. The river {5d} completed the board for a straight and Marquez fired a chunky bet of 225k. Teoh called and Marquez revealed the nut straight {8c}{9h}. Marquez chips up to a healthy stack of 1.2m.

12:36: Christopher Runas doubles up twice off of Moe Jiggy

Waiting for one more player to bust for a table redraw, short stacked Runas moved all-in twice only to be called by Jiggy with a better hand on both spots. The previous double up saw Runas with {qh}{jc} and Jiggy with {ks}{js}. The board {9s}{qc}{qd}{4h}{8h} however, went in favor for Runas as he doubled up his six big blind stack.

Next level saw Runas again with the preflop jam, called by Jiggy with the best hand in poker. Lucky Runas once again dodges his elimination as he cracked Aces with {8d}{8s} as the board came {6h}{7s}{5d}{9d}{4d}.

12:24: Hyunjin Kim catches Kai Shing Chong’s bluff

An open from Kim, Chong defended his big blind and saw a flop of {3s}{2s}{3h}. Chong led out a bet of 60k, called by Kim. The turn came {kc} and Chong fired another 66k bet. Kim called another time and the river {9s} completed the board. Chong sent out a heftier 160k bet and Kim tank-called with his mid-pair. Kim showed {qs}{4h} for a failed bluff and Kim takes the pot.

11:34: Jannodin Riga’s Queens fail to hold – Php 120,000

Level 20: 10K-20k ante bb 20K

Left with less than ten big blinds, Riga slammed his stack against Teoh’s under the gun open. A call from Teoh with {ad}{jd}, the board quickly turned in favor for Teoh showing flopped trips. The turn and river ran blank and Riga’s {qh}{qs} headed for the muck as he exited in 27th place.

11:32: Minku Kim scoops Thomas Floean – Php 120,000

Level 20: 10K-20k ante bb 20K

An all-in preflop situation, short stacked Floean went with {9d}{9c} and Kim called behind with {as}{8c}. Floean’s pair was ahead until the river showed an Ace, sending him to the rails. {2d}{3c}{5h}{10d}{ah}

11:27: Grace Takayama suffers losing end of a cooler – Php 120,000

Opened by Ronn Ryan Mesina, Takayama moved all-in from the small blind and was instantly called by Mesina showing {kd}{ks}. Takayama’s {qh}{qc} was doomed to lose as the board revealed {kc}{10d}{jc}{jh}{qs}, giving both players a full boat.

11:18: William Teoh eliminates Kim Hyun Woo – Php 120,000

Level 20: 10K-20k ante bb 20K

Another open from Teoh, Woo called behind to see a flop of {qh}{10c}{6c}. Teoh fired a continuation bet of 170k and again was called by Woo. The turn came {5c} and Teoh checked. Woo bet 200k leaving himself with 50k behind. Teoh put him all-in and showed {ks}{kd}. The river was of no help to Woo as he exited in 31st place.

With blinds increasing, the table saw a three-way all-in with day chip leader Clyde Troy Morales covering both players Yun Xiang Lee and Taejin Choi. The board showed {9s}{6s}{2s}{ad}{9d} giving Lee’s underdog {6h}{6d} the crucial pot.

A massive preflop spot, the hand began with Ginbert De Villa raising to 50k from the cut off. William Teoh on the button called, and Euryd Rivera from the big blind three-bet to 190k. De Villa answered with an all-in of 920k. Teoh made the fold and Rivera happily called with the Rockets. Luck was on De Villa’s side as the flop instantly revealed a five for a set. The board ran {qd}{9h}{5d}{6c}{2h} and Rivera busts out in 34th place.
