09 Jun 2022 APC: Clyde Troy Morales tops the 41 Day 1C survivors; two entry days remain; Emman Segismundo wins NLHE Turbo
The Metro Card Club sizzled with Day 1C of the Asia Poker Championship adding another 118 to the entry pool. This brought the cumulative tally to 255 entries. After 12 rounds of scheduled play, 41 players survived the onslaught with Filipino Clyde Troy Morales at the helm. Morales bagged up a 61 bb stack, placing him within the top 10 of the cumulative Day 2 qualifiers. Notable players also advancing were newly crowned APPT Open Manila Main Event champion Henrik Tollefsen, 2020 APC runner up Martin Gonzales, Richard Marquez, and Marc Rivera who successfully bagged up a larger stack than at Day 1A. Coming Day 2, Rivera’s shorter stack will be removed from play. Changhwan Lee still has a stronghold on the top spot with a massive 105 BB stack.
