23 Apr Vamerdino Magsakay rules MSE Day 1C; guarantee surpassed!
Fresh off a spectacular run in Vietnam, Filipino pro Vamerdino Magsakay took charge of Day 1C with 316,400 bagged! That mighty stack is equivalent to 21 starting stacks gobbled up or 79 BB entering Day 2.
Magsakay overtook Day 1B leader Christopher Mateo for second rank overall, just 13 BB behind Day 1A frontrunner John Matsuda. Other notable players making the cut were William Ysmael, Lester Timonera, and Jose Colada. As for 2018 MSE champion Joseph Sia, he will have his work cut out with only 9 BB in his arsenal.

The 40 survivors have a one day break before returning to action on Sunday, April 24. Just a reminder, Day 2 game time is earlier. Cards in the air at 12pm. This is followed by the Final Day on Monday, April 25 also at 12pm. The final two tables will see blinds increase every 40 minutes. You can track the final day action via our live updates.
Day 1C turned up the biggest field so far with 125 entries. Combined with the other two completed starting days, the event has accrued 315 entries which means the Php 1.5 Million guarantee has been breached! The pot will continue to swell with one more flight to come.
Next up is MSE Day 1D on Saturday, April 22 at 3pm. This is your last chance to try to qualify. We suggest getting on the felt early to start off with a 150 BB stack. Blinds increase every 30 minutes, registration closes at 8pm daily.
