Set a course for the Metro Card Club, the hunt for the next champion begins today!

Welcome players to opening day of the Metro WALK TO A MILLION – Php 1,500,000 guaranteed Main Event. The festival runs from June 26 to July 1. As always, there are four starting days scheduled with buy-in at a very affordable Php 3,500. And yes, re-entries are allowed until registration closes. In the event of multiple stacks into Day 2, the best stack forward rule will be applied.

Last year, the MWAM drew a guarantee breaking 858 entries. Champion Marvin Cerbito turned his lowly entry fee to a pocketful Php 285,638. Who will be the next MWAM champion? The only chance to win it is to play it! Review the details below and head on over to the Metro!

Main Event details:

Starting stack: 15,000
Opening blinds: 25-50
Format: Big Blind Ante (see below)
Level duration: blinds increase every 30 minutes
Registration: ends at the start of Level 10
Bagging time: end of Level 15

Day 1A: Wednesday, June 26 at 3pm
Day 1B: Thursday, June 27 at 3pm
Day 1C: Friday, June 28 at 3pm
Day 1D: Saturday, June 29 at 3pm

Day 2: Sunday, June 30 at 1pm
Final Day:  Monday, July 1 at 1pm

*Final two tables will see blinds escalate every 40 minutes. Final table blinds increase every 60 minutes.

–Ante will come from the Big Blind. The Big Blind is posted prior to the Ante.
-Players making it to Day 2 may still play in the qualifying days.  Best stack forward rule applies.
-Day 2 will play down to two tables or play 12 levels, whichever comes first.
-Final two tables will post regular ante.
-There will be a 30 big blind ratio to average stack rollback on Day 2, Final day, and final table if needed.
-Final table will be 10 handed.
-Top 18 places will receive a seat to Batang Metro Poker Challenge worth Php 4,500.
