METRO SUMMER EVENT 3 MILLION GUARANTEED MAIN EVENT BEGINS TODAY!

The day has arrived! The Metro Summer Event 3 Million guaranteed Main Event is upon us! This is the Metro Card Club’s second multi-million event of 2019. It runs from today April 10 until a winner is crowned on April 15. As always, there are four starting days offered to ensure everyone ample chances to advance. Buy-in is P6,500  (~US$125) with unlimited re-entries. See schedule below.

Day 1A: Wednesday, April 10
Day 1B: Thursday, April 11
Day 1C: Friday, April 12
Day 1D: Saturday, April 13

All starting days kick off at 3pm sharp. Blinds begin at 25-50 with increases every 30 minutes. Starting stack is a very healthy 15,000 which is about 300x the opening big blind. Registration closes at the first deal of Level 10, roughly five hours from the starting gun. Regulation play resumes until the end of Level 15.

For players that make it through to the next stage, Day 2 is on Sunday, April 14. Keep in mind starting time is 1pm from here on. Blinds increase every 40 minutes. For players that qualify with multiple stacks, only your best stack moves forward.

The Final Day is on Monday, April 15 at 1pm. Once the final table is reached – 10 players – the blinds will increase to 60 minute intervals.  

Players to watch for

The Metro has been producing champions since they first opened their doors. Among them are well known superstars Mike Takayama, Lester Edoc, and Richard Marquez. Not only have these players won at the Metro but have also taken down big events in the international circuit. These players will likely be on the beat at the MSE 3M GTD.

In addition, there are up and coming players to watch out for as well such as William Ysmael and Marco Almerez. Since 2017, Ysmael has ran up some impressive stats in various festivals in the country and is often seen running very deep in these Metro events. As for Almerez, he took down the RVS Cup last year. There will also be a strong contingent of players representing Pilipinas Poker.
