MARVIN CERBITO CLOSES MSE 3M MAIN EVENT DAY 1B AS CHIP LEADER; 17 MORE ADVANCE; DAY 1C UP NEXT

MARVIN CERBITO CLOSES MSE 3M MAIN EVENT DAY 1B AS CHIP LEADER; 17 MORE ADVANCE; DAY 1C UP NEXT

A light turnout at the Metro Summer Event 3M Guaranteed Main Event with only 89 runners opting into Day 1B. Combined with the 137 Day 1A entrants, it brought the total event entries up to 226. There are still two more starting days remaining. If history is a good indicator of what’s to come, then expect a packed house this weekend with players making a mad dash to be part of the action.

Alike the previous starting day, casualties in Day 1B were just as high with only 17 players able to advance. Bagging up the chip lead was Marvin Cerbito with 163,400. This currently sees him in third rank on the Day 2 list. Day 1A leader Geno Gendrano still commands the next stage followed by decorated champion Richard Marquez.

Day 1C up next

With two starting days in the books, only two remain with Day 1C up next on Friday, April 12. This is perfect for all you weekend warriors out there. Registration stays open until the start of Level 10 which gives you about 5 hours from starting time of 3pm to get in. Buy-in is P6,500  (~US$125) with unlimited re-entries. The Main Event runs from April 10 until a winner emerges on April 15. 35 players have already secured their seat into Day 2. See schedule below.

Day 1A: Wednesday, April 10 – 18 advanced out of 137 entries

Day 1B: Thursday, April 11 – 17 advanced out of 89 entries

Day 1C: Friday, April 12

Day 1D: Saturday, April 13

Blinds begin at 25-50 with increases every 30 minutes. Starting stack is a very healthy 15,000 which is about 300x the opening big blind. Once registration closes, regulation play continues until the end of Level 15.

For players that make it through to the next stage, Day 2 is on Sunday, April 14. Remember, starting time is 1pm from here on. Blinds increase every 40 minutes. The Final Day is on Monday, April 15 at 1pm. Once the final table is reached – 10 players – the blinds will increase to 60 minute intervals.
